המורים ישבו סביב שולחן גדול, הסתכלו ימינה ושמאלה ואמרו פעם אחר פעם: ״לא יאומן שזה באמת קורה... אנחנו באמת בפגישת הכנה לקראת עלייה למדינת ישראל״.
היום היה יום מיוחד ואף היסטורי בתולדות תלמ״א. יצאנו לדרך לפני 4 שנים עם תכנית-קיץ קטנה שגדלה השנה ל-18 רשויות, המשכנו בייסוד קהילת-מחנכים בנגב שאיפשרה למורים שהגיעו לתכנית-הקיץ ללמד בבתי ספר משך שנת-לימודים מלאה, והיום התקיימה הפגישה הראשונה של 8 מהמורים הללו, אשר מעוניינים לעלות לישראל.
תכנית קיץ, שהובילה לתכנית שנתית שמובילה ל״עלייה״.
פנינו להקמת פרוייקט שלישי בתלמ״א והוא קהילת ״מורים עולים״ באשקלון.

In 2014, TALMA launched our flagship summer fellowship - then, a small summer school English program that has since grown to serve 24+ municipalities across Israel.
In 2017, TALMA made great strides by creating our second initiative, 'TALMA 2.0' - a 'Community of Educators' in the Negev aimed at closing teacher deficits and improving educational outcomes in otherwise underserved communities. In the years since, TALMA has opened three additional year-round 'Communities of Teachers' spanning Ben Shemen Youth Village to Eilat. These year-long experiences have inspired many TALMA Fellows to remain in Israel.
Out of support for our growing community in Israel and a desire to assist alumni in integrating into Israeli society - and specifically, Israel's education system- in 2018 we launched our third initiative, 'TALMA 3.0' which is called "Morim Olim" (״מורים עולים״) - meaning:
Teachers Making Aliyah.
We are beyond thrilled to welcome our Fellows as Israel's newest citizens and support them in transitioning their lives and careers in their new home.
