TALMA is an ROI Community Project & joint initiative of Schusterman Family Philanthropies,
The Steinhardt Family Foundation in Israel, and the Government of Israel joint initiative of Schusterman Family Philanthropies,
❖ Teaching Fellowships ❖ Trainings ❖ Virtual & School-Based Programs ❖ Curriculum Development ❖ Bridge Building ❖
In 2014, TALMA launched the first cohort of our fellowship for teachers. Heading into our 7th year, the alumni of The TALMA Fellowship have grown into a robust community of hundreds of educators around the globe who are bound together by their shared experience in the Israeli classroom and their commitment to closing opportunity gaps for underserved students the world over. The COVID-19 pandemic has both highlighted the inequities of the education system, and placed a spotlight on the resilience and commitment of superstar teachers.
The TALMA Super Teacher Toolkit is our community's tribute to educators - filled with tips, tricks, lesson planning ideas, and tools to support you and your community with your remote or hybrid classroom. The entries include submissions from TALMA teachers around the world who have harnessed the Start-Up Nation spirit whence out of necessity comes innovation. We hope this token of support from our TALMA family can equip you with new ideas in the new year. You can view the English toolkit in our built-in PDF viewer, or download the Hebrew version here. Please feel free to share this resource with your community of educators.
